MEET MARVIN….a precious, now 17 yrs young, tri colored, 13 lb, Shih Tzu, who was unceremoniously dumped by his owners at the Carson Shelter….”because he was old.” We truly do not believe he is 17!  He even still has a lot of teeth!!  We’ve had Marvin for a year now and he does not act like an old dog!  He is a great little man. He gets along great with other dogs. He may be deaf but he is wonderful. He is not blind!   Marvin is calm and seems to be housebroken. He barks when he needs to go outside or when he wants up on the couch or the bed.  He gives tons of kisses. He can be independent but also likes to snuggle. He absolutely loves to stick his head in the fridge when you open it to see if there’s any goodies for him. He does not play with toys that often but he surprises you and plays sometimes. He is completely adorable and full of love.  All Marvin needs is a home where he can live out his golden years — my Lhasa lived to be 19.5!  Marvin has a minor heart murmur that doesn’t cause him any discomfort.  To help make sure it doesn’t get worse, we have him on medication.  So, all he needs are warm arms and a happy heart to embrace his wonderful self!!  Could that be you?
