HERE’S BIRDIE!  This precious, tri colored, 6-7 yr old, 11 lb Shih Tzu came from the Long Beach Shelter forlorn and confused.  Just look at that face!!  Why was this angel dumped in the shelter?  She is sweet as she can be and what she needs is a lot of love and attention.  She has a mild skin infection, which is being corrected with good food and the right medication.  Birdie LOVES to go for walks and seems to be potty trained, but we never guarantee.  She gets so excited to see the leash!  She is happy go lucky and loves the companionship of other dogs, but doesn’t need to have one — just a plethora of attention from a family who will adore her.  She does have mild dry eye, which only requires drops daily….and she looks forward to it!  Now that she is in a rescue home, she is beginning to relax and blossom.
