THIS IS ELISA....an 11 lb, tan/white, 3-4 yr old Shih Tzu, who came from the Baldwin Park Shelter.  She sat in the back of the kennel and did not dance like a puppy, the shelter shaved all her coat off....so she was passed over.  As soon as we took her out, she started to kiss us and show us her gratitude for getting her out of that dark, cold, lonely place.  She had been a gem ever since!  Elisa is good with other dogs, but she is not extremely playful....so while she is fine with other dogs, she is a better companion than a playmate.  She is interested in toys....she likes to snuggle with her foster roommate...and she is great with people, always happily greeting them.  She seems to be potty trained, but we won't guarantee!  She is very smart and alert, she aims to please.  Elisa is a lovebug who just wants a home to call her own.  Kids over 8 yrs old OK....please either work from home, take her with you or have another dog as a companion, as she doesn't like to be left behind.  She is quiet and not a barker... she just wants a warm bed and a soft pillow to call her own.

Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and LHH ID tag!
